TrustedSec

Following their rebranding with Focus Lab, we created a custom CMS website for TrustedSec using Craft CMS.

TrustedSec is an American company founded in 2012. They're a world leader in cybersecurity program development, cyber-attack simulations, incident response and digital forensic investigations. They needed a new website with a modular design system and effective content strategy and design.

After the initial strategy and UX phase, I joined the project to develop moodboards/stylescapes based on the new brand. Then, build a modular system based on clients' feedback and needs, including interactions, animations, and components.

It was interesting to navigate such a unique creative direction, mixing cutting-edge technology with corporate and retrocomputing aesthetics. This website was designed through graceful degradation from desktop to mobile, as its primary audience favours desktop. Following the design phase, I prepared the documentation for the developers and managed the QA.

In addition to offering a more distinctive look to the website, the new content strategy also focuses on news, events and resources for fellow hackers. An Easter egg was hidden on the website and discovered within the first hour of launch, demonstrating high user engagement.
